By: Sydney D Hey ya'll! So I figured since it's been almost a year since I've shared a playlist of what I'm currently listening to, why not do another one? So here is my current September playlist. Feel free to read the full list below!!

By: Sydney D Hey everyone! So as I'm writing this I'm currently sitting at a park and watching several people hold a kite contest. Anyways, I had a change of life plans recently which resulted in me staying in Texas a little longer. So in very me fashion- I took a road trip. So my family and I took our packed bags and headed towards Hill Country.
Also known as Austin. By: Sydney D So if you're a student like myself, you have probably already searched up over a hundred ways to stay organized this school year on Pintrest and or Instagram. Pages filled with filing systems, flow charts, corkboards, and journals have covered your screens and filled your mind. It probably happens every year honestly.
This year however, I've seen a bit of a laser focus on bullet journals. I don't know if it's because we as a society have become more into the minimalist lifestyle. Or if the creative community has gotten a little tired of the traditional planners and journals that are used year in and year out. And in my case abandoned in approximately nine months. So I- like many others- have decided to make the transition. (Or at least attempt to.) Out with the old and in with the new! Now let's see how it's coming along so far... By: Sydney D Finding these pictures took way longer than it should've haha. But after getting a new phone, opening a email I haven't seriously used in three years, and obtaining a new password; here it is!
By: Sydney D Hey everybody!! So the I’m currently on the east coast and it’s AMAZING!! I love how everywhere is surrounded by trees, lakes, and foliage. I pretty much fell in love with Virginia through Pennsylvania. A;though driving some of it was very interesting, since I’ve never really driven in “hill country” before now. So we mostly drove the entire 22 hours so most of the pictures I got are all from the car. However tomorrow I’ll hopefully get to walk around the area some so I’ll upload some better photos then! But until then check out below....
By: Sydney D Okay so Galveston isn’t what comes to mind when people think of “Coast to Coast” driving, BUT Galveston is technically a coast of the U.S.! Which brings me to my next big adventure.
In about a week I’ll be making my ways towards Pennsylvania (maybe New York as well), to attend my summer orientation. I’m super excited! Not only because it will be my first true experience outside of my home state, but also because my going to college is finally starting to feel real. Cause filling out paperwork and stressing about deadlines all felt like a dream obviously haha. Anyways, I will be taking tons of pictures and maybe even some videos to share here and on my instagram! So do look forward to that! And to bring some more good news to the table; I now have a car again!!! Which means no more uber stores (though who would really miss them), but now more travel stores. So this was more of an update post because I know I haven't been suuppper constant with my post- totally blame my working all the time btw- but I’ll try to maybe get a post once a week or at least once a month. By: Sydney D So I can finally say that I’ve ridden Uber! And some of the experience was good, other experiences made me wish I was in my own vehicle.
Last (last) Tuesday I found myself in a situation that ended with me without my car- I could go into detail but it basically was me not listening to my mechanic- which all in all didn’t cause me immediate panic. Of course I thought of the typical “crap!”, but all in all I could still take the bus to school. So I was as calm as a pond…. Until Friday. Hey everybody! Yes I am still alive and no I don't have an excuse. All I can really say is I've been writing I just haven't posted anything. So expect some "old" uploads soon.
Anyways!! I have decided I am going to post my poetry on here, because why not? It won't be uploaded with my main blog page however. It instead will be going under the series tab, just take your mouse and hover over that lovely "series" tab and it will be the first option. Or just click here! I hope you guys like my poetry or at least not despise it, obviously I am not the very very very best, but I like to think I'm okay. Anyways, have a good day and all that jazz!! P.s My next post is may involve tattoos and birthdays??? By: Sydney D Wow this was supposed to be out February 1st, but the I got busy (What? No I wasn't writing poems and originals stories instead of blog post! Where'd you hear that??) with school and work. So here is a quick flashback:
I mean Kylie actually picked out the noodles that he found “acceptable” and left the rest. While Mike just stared at the bowl. Which means I had to result to bribery by using the one thing they had successful forgotten about. The Outside. |
