Winter Question: What are your favorite things about winter? The ability to wear beanies and sweaters without becoming acquainted with sweat. No I’m just kidding (mostly), I love the community feel that comes with the winter season and- and I know this is cliche- the season of giving tends to affect everyone in the right way. That and hot chocolate. What is your favorite winter outfit? A slouch beanie, oversized sweater, skinny jeans, and a pair of boots. Which is also what I am currently wearing as I write this! What is your favorite winter food? Chocolate covered cheesecake. Quick story: Last winter my family and I went to see Grand Prairie Lights and my sister bought me a chocolate covered cheesecake. Loved it, it was so good. So now I pretty much associate the dessert with happy winter/Christmas feelings. (Also there is a chocolate shop on the island that sells it!!) What is your favorite winter drink? Hot Chocolate! It’s an oldie but a goodie, and is even better if you add a peppermint stick! What is your dream way to spend a winter's day? It is a tie between staying at home with the fireplace on and in pj’s while watching Netflix and driving through neighborhoods with my family to look at all of the Christmas lights. How do you like to do your makeup in the winter? I think I’ve only worn makeup a grand total of three times and each time was for Halloween haha. What are you hoping Santa brings you? A laptop! Actually, if I didn’t get anything this year I’d be okay. I’m not really in need of anything. What are the first three things that remind you of winter?
What is your favorite winter song? White Christmas - Bing Cosby What is your favorite winter memory? When my family and I went to see the ICE!- the theme was The Year Without A Santa Claus (I recommend watching the movie)- and we went right after we received some harsh news. But we still has fun looking at the ice sculptures and taking pictures. My sister and I raced down an ice slide. But it was all really happy, and a good memory for me. What is your favorite winter scent? Evergreen pine needles. Finish the sentence: If I could have anything this Christmas, it would be… To spend time with my family, which thankfully I’ll be getting.
